Driveway Drink: Kombucha Gin Spritz

I was really tempted to call this the Hooch & Booch. Is it too late? I might change my mind. Let's have a drink!
Well here we are. It's.....Spring? It's taking it's sweet time getting here that's for sure. The kids are on Spring Break and we won't be hitting the beach this week, and I'm working, but rest assured their youtube kids search and NBA2k18 skills will be through the roof. Crafting the next generation of doers, that's us.

This cocktail combines a few of my favorite things and to be honest I'm SHOCKED that I haven't tossed some booch into some hooch (ok I'll stop) before now. Kombucha, as you likely know, is a lightly fermented, fizzy, funky drink full of good things like probiotics and "good bacteria." Real Kombucha pushers claim that this magical ancient yeasty (ew) drink can do everything from increase your libido to get rid of your grey hair...but I'm not here for that. I like the taste of it, specifically those that are citrus and gingery. Add a little funk and some fizz and I'm all in. It's practically screaming for a cocktail.

This delightful cocktail is low ABV and high on refreshment, which means you can enjoy more than 1 on a hypothetically nice afternoon and keep your wits about you. I'm all for low ABV patio cocktails, but you can certainly punch it up more if you like. So get enlightened. Get your SCOBY on, and let's have a cocktail.
